School's Back In Session and so are these agencies

Beaufort County School District schools will reopen Friday on normal schedules. The remnants of Hurricane Michael caused power outages and downed tree limbs at several district buildings, but those problems have been addressed successfully. Friday afternoon extracurricular activities and Friday evening athletic events will take place as previously scheduled. Remember that whenever severe weather threatens, the most current information will always be posted to the district website and social media.

This is from Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools that all facilities will reopen and classes will resume on Friday, October 12, 2018. Chatham County was fortunate to escape significant damage from severe weather associated with Hurricane Michael.

All facilities are in good condition and ready for reopening tomorrow. We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Friday, October 12th. Please take time today to make sure your child is well-rested and prepared to return to the regular school schedule.

The Jasper County School District, Thomas Hayward, Polaris Tech, and Royal Live Oaks will resume normal schedule tomorrow.

Live Oak Public Libraries will reopen on Friday, October 12, 2018.

Fort Pulaski National Monument will reopen Friday, October 12 at 10:30 a.m. following Hurricane Michael. Park officials completed an assessment of the park’s facilities and resources on Thursday and found minimal damage. The national monument closed on October 9 in anticipation of tropical impacts from the powerful hurricane

All Beaufort County government offices and facilities are scheduled to reopen Friday, October 12. The Sheriff's Office will continue to keep the public updated of official recommendations or instructions regarding public safety.

All TCL campuses will reopen and resume normal operations at 8 a.m., Friday, October 12.
