Highway Patrolmen round up ducklings on a busy highway

Ducklings are cute but they don't belong on busy highways. Two California Highway Patrol West Valley troopers had to run back and forth across the shoulder of the 101 Freeway in Encino when they spotted a mother duck and her ducklings wandering too close to traffic. The two troopers were filmed by witnesses as they worked to prevent the ducks from walking out in front of vehicles. The birds were eventually rounded up and taken to the California Wildlife Center in Calabasas.
