Woman wakes up locked in on an empty dark Air Canada plane

A woman who fell asleep during a 90-minute Air Canada flight from Quebec to Toronto woke up hours later in a dark, empty plane after she was somehow missed after the plane landed and everyone got off. Tiffani Adams' story came to light when her friend, Deanna Noel-Dale, wrote about it on Air Canada's Facebook page last week. After she woke up around midnight on the freezing cold plane, Adams texted a friend to let her know what happened, but her phone died seconds later. She couldn't recharge the phone because there was no power on the shut-down plane. She made her way to the cockpit, found a flashlight and began to wave it. When that didn't work, she managed to open the door, but saw she was dozens of feet in the air. Luckily for her, a luggage cart drove by after some time and a worker rescued her. Air Canada has apologized to Adams and said they are investigating how she was stranded on the plane, because they have checks that should have prevented it from happening. Adams has been having anxiety and night terrors since the incident and hasn't been able to sleep much. FOR MORE CLICK HERE
