A Michigan man who sold his beloved 1993 Ford Mustang GT 17 years ago to pay medical bills after his wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer not only had the car returned to him by his children, but Ford restored it as well. Wesley Ryan's children never forgot when he sacrificed the car, which he called "Christine," for their mother's treatment, and they decided last year to surprise him by buying it back tracing it through an online search to an owner in Texas. Nearly a year later, he got another surprise last week when Ford presented a restored Christine to him, with a new engine, transmission, paint job, interior and modern features. A stunned Ryan said, "It's still her, but she's got a new heart. I don't know, I'm at a loss for words. It's beautiful." Ryan's wife, Laura, has been cancer-free for 13 years.
Last September, his kids bought the same Mustang back. Ryan's reaction was caught on camera by his son, Jake.
