GEORGIA WOMAN FOUND ABANDONED IN A DUMPSTER SEEKS THE HEROES WHO SAVED HER

_ A woman abandoned in a dumpster as an infant is using social media to find the people responsible for potentially saving her life. Amanda Jones was abandoned at the Prado Business Mall in Atlanta, Georgia in January 1983. According to a news clipping Jones shared in her Facebook plea, she spent the first five weeks of her life in state custody and was named by nurses ‘Jan Winter.’ She was placed in a foster home to await adoption.

… Fast forward 36 years later and Jones is asking for the people who saved her. She is calling on anyone with information to email her at babyjanwinter@gmail.com or on her Facebook page, where she wrote: “Hi! My name is Amanda Jones. I am trying to find the person/people who potentially saved my life. I was abandoned as an infant at the Prado Business Mall at 5600 Roswell Rd (in Atlanta/Sandy Springs, GA) in January of 1983. If you have any information, please contact me…”
