Catherine Kyle is a die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, but she had never seen them play, even though she's lived for her entire life in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, nearby to the Pirates' PNC Park home field. So Kyle's family took her to the Pirates' home game against the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday (August 24th) to celebrate her upcoming 99th birthday, and she got to see them shut out the Cincinnati Reds 14-0. Kyle told CNN, "I was really surprised. They like to surprise me." A cousin is a season ticket holder, so he volunteered to get the tickets, and 16 of Kyle's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren went to the game with her.
