Dwayne Johnson appeared on the premiere episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show in Kevin Hart’s place, who was unable to show due to the horrendous crash he was in over Labor Day Weekend. Hart had surgery on his back after fracturing it in three places, but Johnson downplayed any major issues.
Clarkson and Johnson discuss Hart’s health:"Everything is good with him, right? Everything is good, I spoke with Kevin, I actually refer to him as my son. I connected with him today. And you know what? These things happen in life and thankfully he was strapped in nicely to his car seat.
To appear on the show in his Jumanji co-star Hart’s place, Johnson had to leave his honeymoon early.
"I love the guy, he's one of my best friends," Johnson said. "And honestly, I mean, thank God, it could've been a lot worse. So, he's a lucky man, and he knows it too. I wish him the best and a speedy recovery and I'm gonna see him soon."
