Georgia professor doubles as baby sitter for student who could not find one

A Georgia professor took on double duty as a babysitter when a student had trouble arranging child care, according to CNN. Georgia Gwinnett College Assistant Professor of Biology Ramata Sissoko Cisse got a call from a student late at night telling her that she couldn’t get to class because her babysitter was sick. Cisse told the student to bring the baby to class. But the baby was so fidgety in class that the student couldn’t take notes. So Cissé improvised. She found a white lab coat and tied the baby to her back. The baby immediately fell asleep and stayed quiet for the rest of class.

The student later emailed thanks for what the professor did. She replied: "I'm always going to be here for you."
