Boy runs 5k event but makes a wrong turn, and ends up running a 10 K!

Sometimes mistakes can actually lead you to better places than you planned. Kade Lovell, age nine, of St. Cloud, Minnesota was expecting to run the 5k version of the St. Cloud Francis Franny Flyer in Sartell, but he missed a turn and ended up finish first in the 10k version of the race. He beat a field of competitors where the next youngest person was in their 20s. The boy's time was just over 48 minutes. Lovell says he trains three times a week and is planning to compete in the Junior Olympics in the winter. Great job Kade.
