Alex Trebek to Canadian TV on his health, family, legacy and more...

This is an interesting, in depth and personal interview he gave to his native TV network about his health and much more. Rather revealing in some spots.

Trebek says that his ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer may cause the end of his run as host of the popular game show. Trebek spoke with Canadian TV and revealed that his chemotherapy treatment is causing sores in his mouth that are making it difficult for him to enunciate his speech. The 79-year-old hopes to host the show for as long as he can before he’s forced to quit. Trebek, who’s battling pancreatic cancer, says there are moments when he has “some regrets about having gone public with it because … there’s a little too much of Alex Trebek out there, and I regret that.” The 79-year-old Jeopardy! host says to “be the inspiration for a lot of other people makes me feel good, but it does place a responsibility on me that I feel I’m not deserving of.”
