HOW STRANGE! A WHEEL DROPPED BY HELICOPTER CRASHES THROUGH FAMILY'S ROOF

An Illinois family returned to their suburban Chicago home to find a wheel that had been dropped by a helicopter crashed through the roof of their home. Linda Taylor-Whitt said she and her family had just returned from eating out Saturday evening when her daughter went upstairs to use the bathroom and found the wheel had crashed through the roof and was lodged in the ceiling. A flight school called SummerSkyz Inc. is taking responsibility for the wheel and says it will do whatever needs to be done to take care of it. The owners of SummerSkyz said the wheel was from a piece of machinery used to move helicopters between airport hangers and had somehow stayed attached before falling off above the home.
