She smelled something burning and then looked under the hood of her car!

Maybe open up the hood of your car before taking it for a ride. A woman in Pittsburgh was driving her car Monday (October 7th) when she smelled burning. She pulled over and popped the hood to find squirrels had been storing nuts there for the winter. They had stolen walnuts from the tree in her yard and placed them around her engine along with mounds of grass. The car owners pulled out most of the nuts themselves, and mechanics were able to remove even more-- a total of a half-filled trash can were removed. The vehicle was otherwise undamaged.
