Craig Morgan, appearing on Kelly's talk show, gave a moving acoustic performance of his latest single inspired by the death of his 19-year-old son,Jerry.
Morgan's emotional connection to his song "The father, my son and the holy ghost," was felt so powerfully that it brought Kelly Clarkson to tears and visibly shook up Blake Shelton.
Morgan has performed this a handful of times now, and says despite the pain felt while singing, he does it to help others.
"As difficult as this song was to write and as difficult as it is to sing, it gives me strength in my faith in God," Morgan shared onsocial media. "My hope is that it does the same for others."
