Utah Elementary Student's Halloween Costume: Hitler, & his teacher ok'd it

After a student at a Utah Elementary School showed up dressed as Adolf Hitler for Halloween--with his teacher allowing him to proceed--that teacher and school principal have been suspended (with pay).

The student wore a tan and green outfit with red armband and Hitler moustache and, according to at least one parent, was seen in the playground harrassing miniority and other students.

It began circulating on social media after the Thursday parade at Creekside Elementary. There was plenty of social reaction to the photo mostly expressing outrage at whoever allowed the child to wear the costume, while others supported the boy. In a statement, the Davis County School District apologized for the costume. The Schools in the district have faced criticism this year for alleged racism and religious insensitivity.
