ARIZONA MAN USES AN INFLATABLE RAFT TO RESCUE A DUCK

When Arizona Humane Society Emergency Animal Medical Technician™ Mark got the call of an injured duck in the middle of a pond at Evelyn Hallman Park in Tempe, his first thought was, “Where do I get a boat?”

The duck was spotted struggling with some fishing wire and driftwood.

Fortunately, a fellow tech, Cynthia had an inflatable raft and the team got right to work. Watch what happens!

This duck is just one of more than 4,000 sick and injured animals who were rescued by AHS’ EAMTs™ last year!

The duck is being treated for its injuries and will be returned to the wild.
