Owner of Keller's flea market says he lost everything in yesterday's fire

Yesterday (Monday) Keller's flea market was the hot place in town as Savannah Fire Departments extinguished the large fire.

Chatham, Pooler, Garden City and Savannah firefighters worked together to put out the blaze.

The iconic Keller’s Flea Market cow still stands, but Chatham Emergency Services COO Phil Koster said part of the main building at Keller’s Flea Market collapsed on itself during the blaze.

He said there are no reports of injuries or of anyone being inside during the fire, as the flea market is closed on weekdays.

Fire officials arrived on the scene around 12 p.m. to find the front portion of the flea market up in flames. Smoke could be seen as far as the Savannah Mall.
