A standard poodle named Siba was the winner of best in show at the annual Westminster Kennel Club dog show in New York last night (February 11th). Siba beat out a whippet named Bourbon, who came in second, and a golden retriever named Daniel who was the crowd favorite, but finished third. This was the fifth time a standard poodle has won best in show at Westminster, but Siba is the first since 1991. A Golden Retriever has never won the top prize but came close this year!
