Mother calls 911 for help feeding her newborn daughter

Utah police delivered baby formula for a mom, who was having trouble breastfeeding her daughter. As a mother of five young children, Shannon Bird considers herself somewhat of a pro at the baby-raising game. She had breastfed her children with ease so she didn't feel the need to buy formula. But when she was unable to breastfeed her six-week-old daughter, London, in the middle of the night one night, she didn't know what to do. She had two ounces of breast milk left in the freezer, but she knew that would last just one feeding when her baby needed to be fed every two to three hours. Officers Brett Wagstaff and Konner Gabbitas responded to the call and ran to a local store for baby formula. The officers even refused to accept payment from the desperate mother. Kudos to those officers.
