With the growing concern about the coronavirus, people are literally cleaning out grocery stores, department stores and drug stores of their stock of hand sanitizers.
Generally doctors will tell you washing your hands is a better bet: it keeps your skin from drying out and you don't need antibacterial soaps which when used frequently is not good for you.
But clearly sometimes you can't wash. However I have checked some local supermarkets and they are completely sold out. One worker told me that as soon as they put out cartons of product, they were gone.
No need to spend money on Purell...especially online where the prices are outrageous. You can make this yourself!
