People in Florida clearly have no understanding of "social distancing"

Right now, most of the world has been told to practice ‘social distancing,’ which means avoiding being close to others, and avoiding anywhere crowded—mostly staying at home. But despite all this, Clearwater Beach, Florida was still packed on Monday (March 16th.) Images from the local news there shows tons of people on the beach and in the ocean. Since the clip went viral, the city has decided to close “Spring Break Camps,” in a tweet the city said, “In an abundance of caution amid the COVID-19 outbreak, the city of #Clearwater is canceling Spring Break Camps at all recreation facilities starting March 18th. If you have any questions, please contact your recreation center. Thank You.” Still, Buzzfeed reporters note you can look at live beach cams from various Florida beaches and still see tons of people hanging out on the beaches—far too close together to fit the CDC’s recommendations.

Florida reports 19 new cases of COVID19.
