It’s not everyday that auto shop workers have to call up animal rescuers. Employees at the Jiffy Lube in Springfield, Utah, had to call the state Division of Wildlife Resources earlier this week after a woman brought her car in after spotting some debris and oil on the ground near the vehicle. Mechanics popped the hood to find what they thought was a beaver inside the engine compartment. Conservation Officer Sean Spencer responded and removed a marmot from inside the vehicle. The animal was not injured and was released at a Utah wildlife management area.
