Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has condemned a video circulating on social media purporting to show a large gathering of young people inside a small space.
In the video you can plainly see hundreds of people crowded into one room and dancing (not six feet from each other) as music plays. But the rest of the house was also full of people and most, as you can see, were not wearing face protection of any kind.
'I’m not worried about [the coronavirus]…but if I didn’t have it before, I probably got it now. Oh well,' a 23-year-old attendee said.
The video quickly gained attention after some party-goers went live on Instagram at the party.
