A Canadian aerobatic jet that was doing a flyover meant to boost morale during the pandemic crashed into a neighborhood in British Columbia on Sunday, killing one crew member and seriously injuring another, and also setting a house on fire. The jet was part of the Snowbirds, Canada's equivalent of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds or the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels. Captain Jennifer Casey a spokesperson for the Snowbirds, was killed, and the plane's pilot, Captain Richard MacDougall, survived. Video appeared to show at least one person ejecting from the plane before it crashed in the city of Kamloops. Both people who live in the house were said to be okay
