It's so hot in Arizona. you can bake cinnamon rolls on your car's dashboard

Arizona was dealing with very high temperatures last week, and so a man named Matt Peterson decided to bake foods on his car’s dashboard and share the results to TikTok. In a clip he uploaded on Tuesday (May 26th) he says, “It’s officially triple digits in Arizona, so today I’m gonna bake some cookies in my car.” The recorded high temperature in Phoenix that day was 103 degrees Fahrenheit. He also showed himself carrying a lined baking dish with chocolate chip cookie dough on top. He left it on his car’s dashboard at 11 a.m. and returned that evening to find them “fully baked,” and even concluded that they’d been overcooked, so he planned to cook his next dessert for a shorter period of time. On Wednesday (May 27th), when the high was 107 degrees, he baked cinnamon rolls on his dashboard, and on Thursday (May 28th) he took a request from a follower and made pizza in his car. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), when temperatures outside are between 80 and 100 degrees, the temperature inside a car left in direct sunlight can rise to 130 to 172 degrees.
