Georgia mom devises a plan to stop children swearing but some are critical

A mom from Georgia recently went viral after posting how she’s dealing with her kids swearing in their text messages. Melanie Dale is a mother of three and an author, and recently posted a TikTok after noticing her kids text messages have been “getting a little too spicy.” She notes that “My husband updated their auto text to gently remind them.” The video shows different swear words being typed and then being autocorrected to “Sweet daughter, please stop using this word. Luv Dad,” or “You’re a sweet girl. Try ‘sugar’ instead. – Luv Dad.” The video has over 80,000 views since being posted and is getting very mixed reactions in the comments section. Some called the move a hilarious way to deal with swearing, while others said it was “intrusive” and would cause trust issues between the children and their parents.
