A deputy from Savannah says her video on McDonald's was misunderstood

The Facebook live video of a sheriff’s deputy in Georgia has gone viral, and provoked much social media debate, after an order mixup at a McDonald’s provoked an emotional response, heightened by the anxiety she feels amid current tensions in the United States. Stacy Talbert, a deputy with the McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office, and Savannah resident, was on the verge of tears on June 15 as she described how she was “too nervous” to accept a food order at a Richmond Hill McDonald’s after a long delay in its preparation. The video had many people dismissing her issue as priveledge, that she is upset or "nervous" because her egg mcmuffin and hashbrown breakfast wasn't ready when she pulled up to the pick up window. She intimated it was more than that.

McDonald’s said in a statement she was not denied service, and the delay in receiving her order was not intentional or due to her being a police officer. See what YOU think.
