Mountain lion rescued from the crawl space beneath a California home

You never know what might be lurking below your house. Monrovia, California police caught a mountain lion that had been spotted wandering the city for four days yesterday morning (June 25th.) The animal was found hiding in a crawl space under a house on Wednesday evening (June 24th.) The animal was spotted leaving the home Wednesday night and wandering the neighborhood before returning to the crawl space. It was shot with a tranquilizer dart and removed from under the home early Thursday morning. Wildlife agents loaded the mountain lion into a truck to remove it from the area to relocate it to a wilderness area.
