In an amazing rescue, an 8-year-old horse named Lola was rescued when a helicopter harnessed and air-lifted to safety. Lola was trapped, as the ravine’s terrain was too rough to walk on. Lola was thankfully uninjured and reunited with her owner.
Lola became trapped because walking out was not an option due to the terrain, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
The rescue team along with a helicopter was able to hoist her out after she was sedated.
