Iconic "Ferris Bueller" scene is the inspiration for a Liftmaster ad

Two teenage dudes ogle a classic red sports car. One says: “My father spent three years restoring this car. It is his love. It is his passion.” The other adds: “It is his fault he didn’t lock the garage.” Sound familiar? It’s an iconic scene from the 1986 John Hughes comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off — and a remake of sorts of in a fun commercial selling LiftMaster’s Secure View Garage Opener.
