TikTok: Super-gluing vampire fangs to their teeth unable to remove them

Some internet trends are dumber than others. TikTok users are now using nail adhesive, made of the same ingredients as super glue, to secure fake vampire fangs to their real teeth for Halloween. The issue is (predictably) removing them. Videos of young people panicking as they struggle to yank off their fake fangs are now circulating. Dentists of TikTok are also replying to the videos, telling those with fangs stuck to their teeth exactly what to do when the worst-case scenario occurs. They note that your first step should be to seek dental attention, and you should not pull on the teeth. They add that if you can’t get to a dentist immediately you should wait for the fangs to fall off and then gently go about brushing your teeth and rinsing your mouth with water as you normally would. The dentists also say that the nail glue, and superglue of any kind, is poisonous, and not intended for use inside your mouth—a safe alternative would be denture glue or ortho wax, both of which can be easily removed.
