Nashville’s animal control just shared the heartwarming story of a local veterinarian who was reunited with her missing pup who had been stolen from her yard 13 years ago. Let that sink in — reunited after 13 YEARS. According to a social media post, a good Samaritan found the dog wandering around a few days ago. After trying to find the owner with no success, he was brought to Nashville’s animal control to be scanned for a microchip. It was there that they found out that the good boy was a 16 year old named Connor who belonged to Dr. Karen Fox.
… Connor had been stolen from Dr. Fox’s yard 13 years ago and she hadn’t been able to find him since. Fox says she was outside with 3-year old Connor back in 2008 when a truck stopped and snatched him right out of her front yard. She tried to flag the truck down with no success, so she started posting about him and trying to find Connor to bring him back home. The shelter says that when the pair reunited, Connor immediately ran to Dr. Fox and began licking her face before settling in her lap.
