This is a reminder to listen to your small children. Eric and Nicole Woodard said their five-year-old daughter, Rian, came inside their Castle Rock, Colorado home after playing outside and told them she’d just seen a giant cat in the yard. Because Rian was so calm, her parents assumed she’d seen a large house cat. But they checked their security camera footage and found a video of Rian riding her big wheel and coming face to face with a bobcat. They say the child and the big cat stared at each other for 22 seconds before the wild animal turned and left. The parents add that Rian didn’t seem at all shaken by the encounter.
