Atlanta woman startled by a wild cat in her bed--and she doesn't own one

This is pretty terrifying. David Frank lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and says sometime last week his wife, Kristine, was awoken when she felt a really big cat jump up on the bed, but that the family doesn’t own a cat. When she opened her eyes she saw it was an African Serval, a big wild cat that can weigh 30 to 40 pounds and be up to three feet tall. Kristine’s reaction startled the cat off the bed and she was able to inch out of the room and close the door. The family said the cat had been spotted in their neighborhood a few times before, and it’s thought the animal is likely someone’s illegal pet. Authorities are trying to catch the cat and take it to a sanctuary.
