This isn’t something you see every day. Colorado Parks and Wildlife says officers responded to the parking garage in the Lionshead Village area of Vail on Tuesday morning (July 27th) when a 2-to-3-year-old moose was spotted inside. They added that the moose had been spotted frequently inside area parking garages during the preceding 10 days, likely drawn in by residual salt from deicing agents used on the upper floors. Officials say they decided to relocate the moose after they determined it was getting accustomed to the area and seemed unlikely to leave on its own. They say that everything went smoothly as far as tranquilizing the moose and then releasing it into a remote area outside of Craig.
