This was a pretty close call. A pair of Minnesota teenagers were gardening at a friend’s house and had a close call with a wandering black bear that was caught on camera. Hailey Nelson, age 17, and Dori Arndt, age 15, were working in the front garden at friend Hailey Nyberg's house, when Nelson spotted what she initially thought was Nyberg’s dog out of the corner of her eye. A security camera placed in one of the home’s windows recorded as the girls realized it was a young black bear, and fled toward the house. The girls ran inside, and the bear wandered the neighborhood, entering some backyards, before leaving the area.
