A heard of goats and rams rented to graze on an overgrown Michigan lawn wandered off and where rounded up by the Southfield Police Department Monday (September 7th). The animals were taken to Macomb County animal Control and will be returned to their owner. Goats have become a popular, eco-friendly alternative to traditional landscaping services in recent years
Linda Hochstein, who lives near the job site, got a text from her neighbor with a picture of the goats on her street. “She asked if I got new pets,” Hochstein said. “So, I threw some clothes on and ran outside.” Hochstein tracked the group to Hampton Hills Lane where she worked to keep them together for roughly 2.5 hours.
