An "athletic" deer became entangled in a soccer goal net in Georgia, and firefighters came to its rescue. The Savannah Fire Department responded to the Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex about a deer being in distress. When they arrived, they found that the deer had its antlers and neck stuck and entangled around the goal net. They used trauma sheers, wire cutters and a knife to safely free the animal. The deer just appeared exhausted from the energy it used to try to escape, but was uninjured. The fire department wrote in a Facebook post about the incident, "Once free, it wobbled a bit from exhaustion, then slowly trotted away."
