FIREFIGHTERS RESCUE DOG FROM ROOF OF NEW JERSEY HOME

Firefighters in New Jersey recently had to use their ladder truck for an unusual rescue. The Bogota Police Department said in a Facebook post that officers responded to a home in Bergen County on Sunday (February 20th) after a dog knocked an air conditioning unit out of a second story window of a home and wandered onto the roof. Police contacted the Bogota Fire Department for assistance, and a video shows rescuers using the ladder truck to approach the friendly dog and bring it back down to safety.
