She paid $1000 for a French bulldog but what she got was a pug mix

TikToker @crystalchas spent $1,000 for a purebred French Bulldog from a breeder she found online...but she received a pug and Frenchie mix instead.

The breeder shared photos of a light brown Frenchie that does not look quite like Crystal's pup, who is brown and black with a more "pug-like" face.

Judging by her videos, Crystal loves her new puppy Hazel all the same, but hopes the lying breeders "stub their toe."

French bulldogs have become one of the most popular dog breeds in the United States, and cost between $1,500 and $8,000.
