VERMONT UNIVERSITY HONORS CAT WITH “DOCTOR OF LITTER-ATURE” DEGREE

Vermont State University’s Castleton campus decided to honor a very special member of its community — Max the cat. This beloved feline, who has been a familiar sight on campus for years, was awarded an honorary degree of “doctor of litter-ature” ahead of the graduation ceremony over the weekend.… Max has won the hearts of students and faculty alike with his friendly demeanor. Living with his human family on the street leading to the main entrance of the campus, Max has made it his mission to socialize with students, offering cuddles, selfies, and even joining prospective students on campus tours.
