What makes a place special? The "it" factor that sets it apart from all others and makes it a spot that you would want to settle down and make a home for yourself. Entertainment venues, a wide array of restaurants, affordable prices, job opportunities — whatever "it" may be depends on each person, but one county in Georgia was named as the best place to live in the entire state.

According to a list compiled by 24/7 Wall St., the "best county" to live in in Georgia is Forsyth County, which has a median household income of $120,999 (compared to the $65,030 state average) and a life expectancy of 82.2 years. Additionally, the poverty rate for this area is 5.3%, far below the state average of 13.9%.

Here's what the site had to say about the best county in Georgia to call home:

"Forsyth County in north-central Georgia ... is located within the Atlanta metropolitan area, giving residents access to employment opportunities in one of the largest cities in the United States. Job availability has translated to greater financial security. The county's poverty rate is less than half that across Georgia. Conditions associated with poverty can contribute to negative health outcomes, while health outcomes tend to improve with education — and over half of all adults in Forsyth County have a Bachelor's degree, compared to a third of adults across the state. These factors may help explain why Forsyth County's population appears to be far healthier than average. Life expectancy at birth in the county is 82.2 years, over four years longer than the average across the state."
