"Momma Kim", Setting A Good Example For Us All

Once a month in Austin, Texas, something extraordinary happens at a local Korean restaurant. Every single person who walks through the doors eats for free. Korea House, a family-owned restaurant run by “Momma Kim”—serves more than just food.On the first Wednesday of every month, they serve kindness, hope, and a warm welcome to all. On Facebook they posted: “That’s right! Everyone. Every race, gender, religion, age, etc. All are welcome to dine in and share a free meal with us, no strings attached.”Local officials recently honored Korea House for its heartfelt mission, praising Momma Kim as “a champion of her community” and commending her for “setting an inspiring example of compassion and generosity.”
