10 Year-Old Cancer Survivor Is Up For Athlete Of The Year

10 year old Ariya Park is both an elite cheerleader and a neuroblastoma cancer survivor.Ariya says her favorite thing about cheerleading is…everything. And now the young lady from Utah is a national finalist to become the "Youth Athlete of the Year." Having survived cancer, as well as struggling with an autoimmune disease, she says every day of health is an even greater gift.

It's one of the many "incredible" ways she inspires her community. Votes for Ariya in the competition can be cast once daily. The winner will be featured in Sports Illustrated and take home a cash prize of $25,000.
