A piglet in Iowa is recovering after jumping from a moving truck on the highway and being rescued by Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control with help from local authorities.
Peppa sustained only minor injuries and is receiving veterinary care, along with plenty of affection from her caretakers.
Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control is partnering with Iowa Farm Sanctuary to secure her a permanent safe home where she’ll have the chance to live out her life in comfort.
