Vegas Police Save Puppy After Fentanyl Exposure

A North Las Vegas police officer saved a puppy after it accidentally inhaled fentanyl in a room containing the drug. Officer Sanders noticed the puppy showing signs of an overdose and quickly administered Narcan, reviving it before it was taken by Animal Protection Officers to an animal hospital for care. The North Las Vegas Police Department shared the incident as an example of both the dangers of fentanyl and the actions of their officers in protecting the community and its animals.
