Last weekend, a deputy in Rancho Cordova, California, responded to a call and ended up helping deliver a baby in a store parking lot. Deputy Foster Tracy found a woman in labor between two bushes with the baby partly delivered and the umbilical cord wrapped around its neck. Along with another deputy, Tracy cleared the airway and stabilized the newborn. Authorities report that both mother and baby are safe, and the deputies are being praised for their lifesaving actions.
