Swedish resident Mats Janzon discovered an orphaned baby otter while walking in woods near his home after the animal's mother died on a nearby road. Janzon rescued the starving otter, which was small enough to fit in his palm, and provided constant care until it gained strength. "The first time she let me pet her, I remember thinking this can't be real," Janzon told TikTok account SoulPaws Tails. "It felt like a dream—this wild, free otter choosing to trust me." After training the otter, named Leya, in a backyard pool, Janzon successfully released her at a local lake. Now when Janzon takes his yellow kayak on the water, Leya swims alongside and climbs aboard to visit. "She's the most playful animal I have ever met," Janzon said. The Otter
