Dog Snuggles Save Elderly Woman From Freezing To Death

An Oregon Sheriff's Office received an urgent search and rescue call last week. 82 year old Karen Davis had gone missing from her home … and with overnight temperatures expected to dip into the 30s, the urgency was high.

Ten volunteers and Mountain Rescue searched for several hours in the dark, but it was Karen’s cattle dog, Cami, that came to the rescue. They heard the dog barking in the distance, and found Karen awake, with Cami laying on her legs, keeping her warm and likely saving her life. Karen was treated for hypothermia and recovered, thanks to her beloved pet.
