A UPS driver in Branford, Connecticut, had an unexpectedly chaotic workday when two notoriously feisty wild turkeys decided he was their new target. Captured on video by local resident Hindy Jaffee, the scene shows the driver trying every trick he can think of—luring the birds to one side of his truck, darting around the other, and shouting “back up!” as the determined duo closes in.
At one point, exasperated and out of breath, he yells, “Jesus Christ. I’m 40-years-old, I can’t be dealing with this,” before sprinting off with the turkeys hot on his heels. According to Jaffee, these birds are well-known neighborhood menaces who regularly chase cars and cause traffic jams, but this was the first time she’d seen them go after a person on foot. The result is a chaotic, comedic slice of suburban wildlife drama.
