Twin brothers Auston and Ashton experienced an extraordinary coincidence when both of their wives gave birth to baby boys on the same day—March 2—at the same hospital in Baton Rouge.
Although their due dates were more than a week apart, both families arrived at Woman’s Hospital on the same day, and the babies, Briggs and Tate, were even delivered by the same doctor. The newborns share the same birthday, were the same length, and differed in weight by only one ounce.
The couples had joked about this possibility during pregnancy but never expected it to happen. Auston says he hopes the boys grow up as close as their fathers.
